Devere CEO’s Crypto Outlook

The CEO of financial advisory and asset management firm Devere Group, Nigel Green, shared his view on the future prospects of bitcoin and ether on Monday.

“Markets are now predicting that policymakers at major central banks, including the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of England, are likely to remain determined to raise interest rates in their battle to defeat unexpected inflation. stubborn,” he began. The executive added that the Fed has “maintained an aggressive theme that inflation remains too high and they will not delay raising rates.”

Since higher interest rates typically lead to stock market crashes, Devere’s CEO noted:

Given the current correlation of bitcoin and ether with the stock markets, we anticipate more, perhaps more, volatility in the crypto market before the end of 2022.

“However, for serious investors, this will not necessarily be seen as a bad thing,” he continued. “Major investors, including institutional ones, will treat it the same as turmoil in any other market.”

He explained that “Some of the best investors in the world consistently use market volatility as major buying opportunities in traditional financial markets, and the cryptocurrency market is now no different.” Devere’s boss emphasized: “When used effectively and efficiently, volatility can be an extremely powerful investment strategy.”

The Devere executive further noted that “Bitcoin remains the best performing asset class in the world, and has consistently ranked among the best for both traditional and crypto investment sectors in recent years.”

Noting that “serious investors won’t be scared off by increased volatility,” Green concluded:

Savvy long-term crypto investors will look to profit from panic sellers by buying their digital currencies “on the cheap” to enhance their investment portfolios.
