Seven Seas Entertainment licenses A Story of Seven Lives, The Great Snake’s Bride and Last Game Manga Series

Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the acquisition of the license for three new manga series for its growing catalog. The new licenses include A story of seven lives, The Bride of the Great SerpentY Last game.

All titles will launch in 2023 respectively and will be available in both print and digital formats. Here are the full details of each new manga release:


The first new license is Shirakawa GinThe cat themed manga A story of seven lives. It is described as a moving story of stray cats and the humans who care for them. The series was serialized on Kadokawa’s Comic It website and app from February 15, 2018 to April 24, 2019. Three tankoubon volumes have been released in total.

All three volumes will be published as an oversized omnibus set for release in May 2023. It will be available in both print and digital formats as a single oversized edition.

Seven Seas describes the synopsis as:

On the harsh streets of Tokyo, countless stray cats scavenge and struggle to survive. Nanao is one of them: he used to be a house cat, but after the tragedy he had to fend for himself, relying only on the help of his fellow stray cat Machi. When some people start feeding the stray dogs in her neighborhood, Nanao cautiously begins to interact with them. But the humans, a brother and sister who run a bathhouse, have their own problems and hurts. Can Nanao help them heal and maybe find a new home in the process? A touching story of family and survival!


The Bride of the Great Serpent by Fushiashikumo is a critically acclaimed manga about a woman sacrificed to a snake god, only to find herself in a relationship with him. It was first serialized in Kadokawa’s Comic Marche magazine on February 12, 2021, and has released three tankoubon volumes as of October 2022.

The first volume will be released for the first time in North America in July 2023 on both print and digital platforms as single volume editions.

Seven Seas describes the manga as:

For 500 years, a giant serpent god has lived in the ancient mountain. Miyo, an unlucky young woman from a nearby town, has been offered as a tribute: she will be the snake’s bride. Amano Shinobumanga series Last game follows two opposing students in a story of one-sided rivalry. revenge and romance. It was serialized in Hakusensha’s shoujo manga magazine LaLa from July 24, 2011 to June 24, 2016. The series is published under the Hana to Yume Comics imprint and has released 11 tankoubon volumes.

The first volume of Last game It will be released in its original black and white edition in May 2023. The series will be available in print as oversized single editions, as well as an e-book on various digital platforms.
